Sorry about the long time since my last blog, I have been a little distracted, like usual hehe.
Just a brief blog today because it's Friday and the weather is a lot cooler than it has been for the past 3 days.
I am so very glad that the heat has died down a bit, I am not particularly a fan of hot weather, in fact I struggle in Summer so it's nice to have a bit of a rest from the heat.
No makeup tutorial today, but instead a recipe and a bit of a mini makeup haul.
Now, I am not a big drinker, I actually feel quite unwell from drinking alcohol so lately I have been trying out some alternatives.
While this recipe may not be a mocktail of any pre-existing cocktails, it's still just as tasty and fun and relatively easy to make and affordable as well.
So here it is!
My Lime and Cucumber Refresher Mocktail!
What You'll need:
1 lime
1 cucumber
50ml Ginger Beer
100ml Lemonade
1tsp Rum Essence
handful of ice cubes
What you need to do:
Put the ice cubes in a glass of your choosing, pour the rum essence over the ice, add the ginger beer.
Cut the lime in half and squeeze a little lime juice, I'd say about a teaspoon.
Slice the other half of the lime and add the slices in, then use your vegetable peeler to slice off some thin shavings of cucumber and add them to the drink.
Give it a bit of a rough stir and top up with lemonade.
If you like, you could decorate it with a slice of lime on the rim of the glass but it looks awesome anyway :P
While I was doing a bit of Christmas Window shopping in Priceline, I spotted some new stuff by Essence.
Essence is a great brand, the products are really good quality and really affordable to buy so I had to grab the new products...
The new products are loose eye shadow pigments :D I was excited and I noticed that a lot of the colors had already sold out!

So I bought two of the pigments that were left and their new eye base.
The colors were "Miss Piggy's Lollipop" which is a vibrant hot pink with a slightly blue shimmer and Little Mermaid which is a blue ever so slightly teal shade with shimmer.
I also managed to find Maybelline's Eye Express cream Shadow stick in Lovely Lilac for $3 at a discount shop.
<<So here are some swatches from top to bottom:
Maybelline Express Eye Cream Eye Shadow stick in Lovely Lilac, Essence Pigment in Little Mermaid and Essence Pigment in Miss Piggy's Lollipop
I didn't use the eye base with these swatches but they are still quite bright and high pigmented so I can't wait to use these!
Next blog I will do a makeup tutorial with my new pigments, but until then best wishes to you all!
Screams and Kisses,
Eerie
